What should you know about Dogwood Blossom Stationery?
We take invitations and paper goods to a totally different level by stepping out of the realm of paper alone, and by incorporating dimensional elements that make things really pop. We are always moving forward and discovering fresh new ways to make your invitations and paper goods something that people will talk about for years to come.
Launched as a full-time custom stationery source in January 2007, Dogwood Blossom Stationery & Invitation Studio, LLC, began as an online shop selling handcrafted personal stationery, embellished note card sets, and custom invitations. One of our first media mentions was in November 2007: our “Reese” note card set was chosen by the shopping blog Rare Bird Finds to receive their Seal of Approval.
Also around that time, custom invitations were starting to become a hot item for us, so in October of 2008, Dogwood Blossom Stationery shuttered its online store and became strictly custom. We now offer wedding, event, and corporate clients anything and everything they can think to ask for.
We are located in Central Florida near Cape Canaveral and Cocoa Beach; our clients are located throughout the US and increasingly beyond.
The left side of every page on this website contains accolades from our past clients, so take a moment to read what they’re saying - our clients and their opinions are very important to us! And check out our Press page for media mentions, too.
And here's a bit about Denise Wilson:
Denise Wilson is the owner and creative mind behind Dogwood Blossom Stationery; starting this business was a lifelong-dream-come-true for her. Always the creative type, she spent her childhood weekends and summers crafting, inventing, and creating in all types of ways. And always while creating, she playfully imagined she’d one day become a chef, a writer, an interior decorator, even a furniture designer!
With that said, and understanding now that hindsight is 20/20, she let her imagination fall to the wayside throughout her teens, then took a massive wrong turn in college and graduated with a degree in Materials Engineering. What? I know, right? Don’t worry, this story does have a happy ending. Let’s fast forward a bit…
While planning her own wedding in 2006, she found it increasingly difficult to find and buy the things she envisioned for her wedding – paper goods included. She felt as though the wedding industry was trapping her in a box; telling her: “But this is the way your wedding is supposed to look.” She therefore became very much a DIY bride in order to achieve her vision, and joyfully so, but realized that not all brides have the desire, creative drive, or time to be DIY brides. And that maybe also, other people out there planning events might be having the same problems.
So unhappy in her current career and longing for a more creative life, she jumped at the opportunity to take a page from her childhood dreaming and start fresh as a custom stationer. Dogwood Blossom Stationery was born. Hairpin turn executed beautifully.
Denise lives in Florida near Cape Canaveral and Cocoa Beach with her husband and cat. Together, they enjoy tending to their vegetable garden, having outdoor adventures in hiking, backpacking, and kayaking, and helping at a few local non-profit organizations.
